Ready to Fence?

Whether you’re thinking of trying fencing for the first time, or an existing fencer looking for a club to join, we would love you to drop in to one of our training sessions and see what we’re all about.

New to Fencing?  Have a Go!

School Holiday Activities

Saturday January 20th – Open Day

10:30am – 12pm, Nunawading Community Centre

Join us for a free trial session during the school holidays.  Find out a bit about the sport, then have a go with the epee and sabre.  Ages 10+ and adults of all ages welcome!

Tuesday January 23rd – School Holiday Clinic

10am – 11:15am, U9 Swordplay, Vermont South Sportlink

11:30am – 1pm, 9+ Epee and Sabre Fencing, Vermont South Sportlink

$20 per child, class size is limited to 10 students so booking is essential!  All equipment provided, no experience necessary.

 

Term 1 Classes for Beginners

If you plan to join us at one of these classes, please make sure you contact us to register.  This allows us to ensure we have enough equipment available for you.

Saturdays in Nunawading From February 3rd:
9:30am-10:30am, (ages 7-11) Swordplay Sabre
Saturdays in Nunawading From February 10th:
10:30am-12pm, (ages 10+)  Beginner Course (Epee), followed by joining the open training.

Tuesdays From February 6th:
4:30pm-5:30pm, (ages 5-9) After-School Swordplay at Vermont South.  Places limited!
7pm-8pm, Junior Training in Mitcham. Suitable for anyone who isn’t allowed to stay up as late as 9pm.
7:30pm-9pm, (ages 10+)  Beginner Course (Sabre), followed by open training in Mitcham.

Thursdays  From February 1st:
6:30pm- Junior Epee, 7:30pm – Senior Epee, Olinda Community Hall
Beginners aged 10+ welcome at any time!
4:30pm- 5:30pm, (ages 7-12) After-School Class, Vermont South Sportlink.  Places limited!
